Well I grew up in Northern Wisconsin. Born in Hayward.
Got myself a BFA with a major in Illustration at Kendall College
of Art and Design, Grand Rapids MI. Spent a summer abroad at Central St. Martin's and Chelsea Colleges of Art and Design.
Loved it, got a new appreciation for arts and crafts. Returned to Hayward after college. So loved it...really turned around
my perspective of what I want to achieve in life.
Due to a job opportunity, I moved to Chicago twelve years ago
(like the city, hate the wind). I went from designing art for apparel to illustrating apparel for art and many things
in between! Unfortunately these days, due to the economy, I'm contracting and doing freelance work until I can find another
salaried art position (crossing fingers). Any leads for full-time or freelance please send them my way! Meanwhile, Im enjoying
the free time to do all those things I wish I had time to do...
My biggest lesson
I've learned since college is that I really hate drawing fish. But shoes, shoes are fun ;).
